Inspired by the aztec goddes of life and death, Coatlicue whose name means “Serpent Skirt”. Friendly shaped wooden representation of Coatlicue, the two serpent-headed godess becomes a striking solid white oak cabinet standing more than six feet tall. The door handles represent the necklace of human hands and hearts hanging from the neck of the aztec monolith. The base of the cabinet represents the godess´s sharp claws, surrounded by the skirt of snakes, a symbol of the earth as both creator and destroyer. Four 40 cm deep shelves inside. Handcrafted in México in 2021.
